Securitization Veterans Wormser and Powar Join GreensLedge

Ken Wormser and David Powar have joined GreensLedge Capital Markets as managing partners. Wormser and Powar have helmed the CLO and Credit Solutions businesses at Natixis North America since 2003, where Wormser was also responsible for securitization investment banking activities globally. Wormser and Powar will join Brian Zeitlin and Jim Kane, the cofounders of GreensLedge, on the firm's management committee.

Also joining are Wil Fischer, Ninat Lekagul and Aimee Means as managing directors and Mark David, Naz Majidi and Craig Reckin as directors. The new team will continue to service hedge funds, specialty finance companies and asset managers focused on portfolios of corporate and commercial loans, offering structuring, advisory, placement, capital raising and other related services.

Wormser was most recently global head of the structured credit and conduits group at Natixis North America. Prior to joining Natixis in 2003, he spent eight years at CIBC World Markets and 15 years at Citigroup.

Powar was most recently managing director and deputy head of the structured credit and conduits group at Natixis, where he led the CLO arranging and credit solutions. Prior to joining Natixis in 2003, he spent five years at CIBC World Markets and two years at Moody’s after starting his career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
