Brian Zeitlin is a co-founder and a Managing Partner of GreensLedge. Before forming GreensLedge, he was associated with J.P. Morgan for more than three years as a Managing Director and head of the 160-person Global Structured Credit business. Brian started his career in 1989 at Kidder, Peabody & Co., where he focused on the high yield marketplace, which included the execution of several early high yield bond CBOs. In 1993, he joined Bankers Trust Company’s investment management business as part of a new effort focused on high yield and emerging markets. Brian oversaw the US credit research, where he raised and managed the firm’s first high yield CBO. In 1996, Brian moved to the Investment Bank to launch a new CDO banking effort. After Deutsche Bank acquired Bankers Trust in 1999, Brian ran the Global CDO Group until leaving for J.P. Morgan in 2004. Brian was responsible for client management, product development, origination, execution, risk management, and marketing for the Global Structured Credit business. His product focus included client advisory services, CLOs, CDOs, Credit Opportunity Funds, and a wide variety of alternative asset fund products. Brian holds a BS degree from Cornell University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Series 7, 24, 63, 79, and 99 licensed.
